In June 2007 this site started off as a way for me to archive and share my fishing reports. It has grown to much more. Right now I am still sharing my passion for fishing but I've seen it grown in many ways. Fishing clubs, charity tournaments, videos, blogs and the latest is my love of wildlife photography.

My vision for saltyshores.com ultimately is to have like minded people with a passion for angling and photography throughout to post here. My hope is to encompass all of the “Salty Shore” lines through out the world :) . People like Captain Rick DePaiva, David McCleaf (SW Florida), Tanner (East Central Fl), Benzo (SE Florida) , Jan's Reviews and John Meskauskas has recently been added to enhanced the SS experience and grow SS.
